30 June 2020: Farmer Autovillage – Group Update
Well what an interesting couple of months it has been, who would have guessed at the beginning of the year 2020 was going to go down as one of the most interesting to date. The great news is that so far, we as a country and community have managed to wrestle control of this challenge.
Since returning from level 4 we have seen a strong sign of confidence across the retail sector with many companies reporting record levels of enquiry, this is a testament to the Bay of Plenty’s resilience in challenging times.
We have a couple of exciting changes to also make you aware of. The first being that due to the sale of our Hyundai franchise to our good friends at Ebbetts we have achieved a great new home for 2 of our fastest growing brands being MG, Haval and Great Wall, which will be relocating to 120 Hewletts road in the first week of July. These brands are headed up by Dave Briscoe and his team Blair Brookbanks and Jim Low in sales and Peter Wilson who will head up the service advisory department.
Over the next few months, we will be launching a paint and alloy wheel repair centre in addition to our windscreen replacement service, this will mean that we can very quickly and efficiently repair those pesky curbed alloys or bumper graze at your convenience, we will advise more on this service very soon.
