Services & Parts

Our total vehicle care services are the pulse of our business and our talented team delivers these services to ensure our customers are completely satisfied when it comes to taking care of their vehicles. There are many career options within these departments including the technician team, service advisor team, parts team, trade parts team, warehousing and vehicle preparation team, grooming team, wheel & tyre centre, paint centre and wheel repair centre, windscreen centre. We continuously support training and apprenticeship programs.

Sales & Finance

Our sales and business manager roles are vital to the award-winning customer service that we are known for. You need to be business and computer savvy and most importantly be a great communicator.  Our sales team are passionate and care about the customer experience, these roles also have the exciting benefit of experiencing some of the latest models on the market! At Farmer Autovillage we have 13 international brands, meaning there is plenty of opportunities to grow.

Administration & Customer Relations

With over 300 customers visiting Farmer Autovillage per day, it’s a busy and big place to be. It’s our reception, administration and customer relations team who help to ensure the business runs smoothly. In house, we operate a call centre, administration team and marketing team who all support the group. Many of our team started their journey in one of our reception or in administration roles and have moved to another department to gain even more experience.

Automotive Technician

Founded in 1991, Farmer Autovillage is a strong and credible company on an exciting journey. We represent 13 brands all under one roof with a state-of-the-art, 10 bay workshop equipped to handle over 150 vehicles per day. Our workshop is a busy and exciting environment, giving you the variety in your role to make the week fly by. You will be able to work within a close team with some of the best international vehicle brands and the latest technology. We will also provide ongoing factory training and progression pathways.

We are currently looking for an experienced qualified technician to join our team. Whether you live locally or looking to relocate for a better lifestyle in the stunning Bay of Plenty, we want to hear from you. We can also work with you on relocation plans.

Service Advisor

We are always on the lookout for talented service advisors locally or if you are thinking of relocating to the beautiful Bay of Plenty, we want to hear from you. As the important link between our customers and the workshop, service advisors are vital to our group’s success and the smooth running of our daily operations. Industry experience is not required, you might currently work in hospitality or retail and looking for a change – your retail and customer service experience is transferable.

Strengths you bring to the role include your professional presentation, computer, phone skills and a passion for delivering personalised customer experiences to the highest level. You will pride yourself on the ability to up-sell and add value. Reporting to one of our two group Service Managers your day will look like

  • Efficient handling of customer inquiries in person, via email or phone
  • Liaising with our workshop team to ensure vehicle repairs and issues are dealt with efficiently
  • Welcoming and checking customers into the dealership and confirming required work
  • Costing of retail service and repair invoices
  • Explanation of repair invoices at vehicle collection

Sales Specialist

When you join Farmer Autovillage as a sales specialist, you’ll work with one of our thirteen international vehicle brands and a company built on a team of great people. We’re always looking for more, especially those with the drive to succeed.

As a sales role, it is heavily focused on relationship building, both on a personal and business level.  You will have dedication to providing excellent customer service, along with a great work ethic. You will have the ability to earn great money and drive some brilliant vehicles, yet equally willing to put in the effort to reach the top. We’ll also look after you with training, development and progression. We are also able to work with your relocation plans if you live outside of the Bay of Plenty.

We are in an exciting growth phase in our business and we are looking for exceptional individuals to join our sales team. You’ll need to be able to:

  • Develop and maintain close relationships with new and existing customers
  • Understand the customers’ needs and align them to our brands and solutions
  • Be a clear and confident communicator
  • Build a healthy sales pipeline of new opportunities
  • Actively contribute and work within our CRM (autoplay) and other digital platforms

Have what it takes?

  • Automotive sales experience (but not always necessary)
  • Understanding of the sales process, objectives, outcomes, and techniques
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed
  • Resilient and able to handle challenges
  • Comfortable at communicating
  • Professional presentation (written and verbal)

You will be able to / have:
› Service, diagnosis and repair vehicles
› Mentor and train junior team members
› Provide daily support to different functions of the business.
› Be proactive and energetic
› Clean NZ driver’s license
› NZTA VI certificate (not required, but would be helpful to any application)

Hours are Monday – Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm
