Pursuant to section 241 of the Land Transport Act 1998, as a Registered Motor Vehicle Trader, Farmer Motor Group Limited may, from time to time, access Name and Address information held on the Motor Vehicle Register. We have authorisation to obtain this information subject to New Zealand Gazette Notice 2022-au4073 dated 21st September 2022. We may only obtain this information in the following circumstances; 1) to confirm the vendor is the registered person of a motor vehicle that we (the Motor Vehicle Trader) are proposing to purchase, and 2) to assist in verifying that a change of registered person has been completed correctly or transaction in which we (the Motor Vehicle Trader) are the purchaser or seller. As the registered owner of a motor vehicle you may notify Waka Kotahi if you do not wish to have your name(s) and address(es) made available under this authorisation.
