:2026 GWM Cannon Alpha Ultra PHEV – The Ultimate Hybrid Beast
Forget everything you know about hybrid utes. The heavy-hitting 2026 GWM Cannon Alpha Ultra Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) is the ultimate combination of full-size luxury, hardcore 4×4 capability, and massive electric efficiency.
Combining a 2.0L turbo petrol engine with a high-output electric motor and a huge 37.11kWh battery, it pumps out a monumental 300kW of power and 750Nm of torque. Power goes through a smooth 9-speed automatic transmission to a proper BorgWarner 4×4 system with electronic front and rear differential locks.
